The records of the Unit enrolments VET data group detail the VET units of study to which students are enrolled.

Code that uniquely identifies the student, such as 109987827.

Code that uniquely identifies the course, such as A3001.

Code that uniquely identifies the unit of study, such as AU1000.
Date after which a student cannot withdraw from the unit of study without financial penalty, such as 31/03/2019.
Date on which the student is expected to start the unit of study, such as 01/01/2019.
Date on which the E355 Unit of study status code is expected or was reported, such as 15/07/2024.
Code the categorises the student's unit of study, such as 3 - Successfully completed all the requirements.
Code that identifies the mode of attendance by which the student undertakes the unit of study.
- 1 for internal attendance at an on-shore or off-shore campus.
- 2 for external attendance at an on-shore or off-shore campus.
- 3 for multi-modal attendance.
If the student is attending an offshore campus as an internal student at that campus, the mode of attendance is 1, not 2.
Code that uniquely identifies the discipline to which the unit of study is classified, such as 100301.
Indicates if a unit of study is a year-long unit. If Yes, the unit of study is a year-long unit.
Code that identifies the reason for remission, such as 01 - Remission due to special circumstances.
Required only if the unit of study is remitted for the student.
Code for the student’s means of payment for study, such as 204 - Paid the full student contribution up-front.
EFTSL of the unit, which is the fraction of an annual full-time load of study that is taken up by the unit such as 0.75.
Cost of the unit of study to an attending student, such as 800.00. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
Student contribution or tuition fee amount which will be or has been paid for a unit of study or the amount of student services and amenities fees which will be or has been paid by the student, such as 900.00. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
Loan fee charged for the unit of study. The loan fee applies to undergraduate students with FEE-HELP loans, students with OS-HELP loans, and students with VET FEE-HELP loans only. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
If the student has a HELP debt for the unit of study, then the value for the E529 Loan fee must be 25% of the E558 HELP loan amount.
HELP loan amount for a unit of study or SA-HELP loan. If a student has no HELP loan for a unit of study, then the value must be 0.
This includes exempt and overseas students. If a student has a HELP loan for the unit of study, then the value for the HELP loan amount must equal the E384 Total amount charged minus the E381 Amount paid upfront.
For FEE-HELP undergraduate courses and VET courses, this must exclude the loan fee which is reported separately in E529 Loan fee.
Unique identifier for records that have been previously migrated from HEPCAT to TCSI.
Identifies whether the student’s enrolment in the unit of study is the result of an approved VET student loans course assurance arrangement. If Yes, the student’s enrolment in the unit of study is the result of an approved VET student loans course assurance arrangement.
Code that indicates whether recognition of prior learning is a unit of study or recognition of prior learning is a component of the unit of study, such as 2 - Unit of study has a component of RPL.
Required if recognition of prior learning is the unit of study unit or if recognition of prior learning is a component of the unit of study.
Code that uniquely identifies the location where the units of study are physically delivered, such as CENTRAL.
The code must match a training organisation delivery location (NAT00020) as defined in the AVETMISS VET Provider Collection Specifications, which is available on the National Centre for Vocational Education Research website:
Unique identifier from the student management system.
The date and time the record was last submitted. N/A if the record has never been submitted.
The current status of the record. The Record status table details the icon, label, description, and status bar colour for each status. Hover over the status icon to see detailed information.

A small triangle in the status bar indicates that the record has not been saved after making changes.
If selected, the record has been approved. The check box is disabled, greyed out, if:
- The data has unmet dependencies. For example, a student in Course admissions record has not yet been submitted to TCSI.
- The data is in progress of being sent to TCSI. That is, the status is processing.
