Early exit awards

The records of the Early exit award data group detail the students who are unable or choose not to continue with the course to which they were originally admitted, and decide to exit the course with an award for a lesser qualification. Records must be submitted within seven days of a student's successful completion of the exit award requirements.

Each Early exit award record must be linked to a Course admissions record and a Courses record.

Code that identifies the course of the Early exit award, such as B3002.

Linked from the Courses data group.

Code that classifies the outcome of the student's course, such as 6 - Transfer to complete a related course.

Date on which the student completed their course of study, such as 01/10/2020.

Empty if the student has not completed the course.

Unique identifier for records previously migrated from HEPCAT to TCSI.

Code that uniquely identifies the student, such as 109987827.

Linked from the Course admissions data group.

Code that identifies the original course, such as A3001.

Date on which the student began their original course of study, such as 01/06/2018.

Linked from the Course admissions data group.

Unique identifier from the student management system.

The date and time the record was last submitted. N/A if the record has never been submitted.

The current status of the record. The Record status table details the icon, label, description, and status bar colour for each status. Hover over the status icon to see detailed information.

Pending update Pending update Record has not yet been submitted. That is, the record is new or requires an update. Amber status bar

Processing Processing Record has been submitted and is being processed. Amber status bar
Dependency not met Dependency not met Record requires a parent or related record that has not been submitted yet. The data dependency is blocking the submission of the record. Red status bar
Error Error Record is in error. Click to see the error details in the side panel. Red status bar
Pending delete Pending delete Record is flagged for deletion. Amber status bar

Amber status bar indicating record not saved A small triangle in the status bar indicates that the record has not been saved after making changes.

If selected, the record has been approved. The check box is disabled, greyed out, if:

  • The data has unmet dependencies. For example, a student in Course admissions record has not yet been submitted to TCSI.
  • The data is in progress of being sent to TCSI. That is, the status is processing.
