The records of the Student SA-HELP loans data group detail the SA-HELP loans of students. Each record is identified using a unique combination of the E313 Student identification code and E527 HELP debt incurral date values.

E313 Student identification code
Code that uniquely identifies the student, such as 109987827.
Linked from the Course admissions data group.
If the Student ID shows only ellipses (…) beside the check box, expand the width of the column.
E490 Student status code
Code that identifies the student's status for a unit of study, such as 204 - Paid the full student contribution up-front.
E527 HELP debt incurral date
Date that the student incurred their OS-HELP loan debt, such as 19820203 - 3 February 1982. 00000000 if the student did not incur an SA-HELP loan debt.
E384 Amount charged
Cost of the unit of study to an attending student, such as 800.00.
E381 Amount paid upfront
Amount paid upfront by the student for the unit of study, such as 800.00. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
E558 HELP loan amount
HELP loan amount for a unit of study or SA-HELP loan. 0 for no HELP loan, exempt students, and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
If a student has a HELP loan for the unit of study, the value for the HELP loan amount must equal the value of E384 Total amount charged minus the value of E381 Amount paid upfront. For FEE-HELP loan undergraduate courses and VET courses, this must exclude the loan fee that is reported separately in the E529 Loan fee.
UID21 Student loans res key
Unique identifier for records that have been previously migrated from HEPCAT to TCSI.
Sms ref
Unique identifier from the student management system.
Last submitted
The date and time the record was last submitted. N/A if the record has never been submitted.
Status
The current status of the record. The Record status table details the icon, label, description, reporting status code, and status bar colour for each status. When viewing the status in user interface, hover over the status icon to see detailed information.

A small triangle in the status bar indicates that the record has not been saved after making changes.
Approved
If selected, the record has been approved. The check box is disabled, greyed out, if:
- The data has unmet dependencies. For example, a student in Course admissions record has not yet been submitted to TCSI.
- The data is in progress of being sent to TCSI. That is, the status is processing.
