Unit enrolments HEP
The records of the Unit enrolments HEP data group detail the HEP units of study to which students are enrolled.
Attention. A Unit Enrolments record has the extension Academic organisational units.

Code that uniquely identifies the student, such as 109987827.
Linked from the Course admissions data group.
Code that uniquely identifies the course, such as A3001.
Linked from the Course admission data group.
Code that uniquely identifies the unit of study, such as AU1000.
Date after which a student cannot withdraw from the unit of study without financial penalty, such as 31/03/2019.
Date on which the student is expected to start the unit of study, such as 01/01/2019.
Date on which the E355 Unit of study status code is expected or was reported, such as 15/07/2024.
Code the categorises the student's unit of study, such as 3 - Successfully completed all the requirements.
Code that identifies the mode of attendance by which the student undertakes the unit of study.
- 1 for internal attendance at an on-shore or off-shore campus.
- 2 for external attendance at an on-shore or off-shore campus.
- 3 for multi-modal attendance.
If the student is attending an offshore campus as an internal student at that campus, the mode of attendance is 1, not 2.
Code that uniquely identifies the discipline to which the unit of study is classified, such as 100301.
Indicates if a unit of study is a year-long unit. If Yes, the unit of study is a year-long unit.
Code that identifies the reason for remission, such as 01 - Remission due to special circumstances.
Required only if the unit of study is remitted for the student.
Code that identifies the student's status for a unit of study, such as 204 - Paid the full student contribution up-front.
EFTSL of the unit, which is the fraction of an annual full-time load of study that is taken up by the unit such as 0.75.
Unique identifier for records that have been previously migrated from HEPCAT to TCSI.
Postcode of the campus where the unit of study is being delivered, such as 3220.
Not required for units delivered outside of Australia.
Code that indicates the country in which the course is delivered, such as 1201 - New Zealand. 9999 for an overseas country that is not classified.
Country codes are taken from the SACC (Standard Australian Classification of Countries):
Code that identifies support arrangements for the work experience in industry units.
- 1 if support for learning and performance is received.
- 2 if support for learning and performance and is not received.
Not required for non-work experience units.
Code that identifies if a unit of study is a summer or winter school unit of study.
- 2 if unit is a full-fee summer school unit of study.
- 3 if the unit is a full-fee winter school unit of study.
Not required for units that are not summer or winter school units.
The following fields are set when charges for the unit are not split between AOUs. When the unit charges are split between AOUs, an AOU extension should be created for each AOU with teaching responsibility for the unit of study.
Cost of the unit of study to an attending student, such as 800.00. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
Amount paid upfront by the student for the unit of study, such as 800.00. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
Loan fee charged for the unit of study. 0 for exempt students and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
The loan fee applies to undergraduate students with FEE-HELP loans, students with OS-HELP loans, and students with VET FEE-HELP loans only.
HELP loan amount for a unit of study or SA-HELP loan. 0 for no HELP loan, exempt students, and overseas students.
Required if the student is enrolled in the unit of study at the end of the census date.
If a student has a HELP loan for the unit of study, the value for the HELP loan amount must equal the value of E384 Total amount charged minus the value of E381 Amount paid upfront. For FEE-HELP undergraduate courses and VET courses, this must exclude the loan fee that is reported separately in the E529 Loan fee.
Code that indicates the maximum student contribution to fees payable.
Required only if the student is Commonwealth supported for the unit of study.
Students who commenced their course of study prior to 2010 and are undertaking a unit of study in the discipline of nursing or teaching have the value 5.
All other Commonwealth supported students commencing or continuing a course of study have the value 7, unless they are exempt.
Unique identifier from the student management system.
The date and time the record was last submitted. N/A if the record has never been submitted.
The current status of the record. The Record status table details the icon, label, description, and status bar colour for each status. Hover over the status icon to see detailed information.

A small triangle in the status bar indicates that the record has not been saved after making changes.
If selected, the record has been approved. The check box is disabled, greyed out, if:
- The data has unmet dependencies. For example, a student in Course admissions record has not yet been submitted to TCSI.
- The data is in progress of being sent to TCSI. That is, the status is processing.
