How to set up PRODA

Attention. You must have the security role StatutoryAdmin to view and edit the PRODA settings.

You must set up PRODA to make submissions to TCSI.

Set up PRODA as follows:

  1. Register on the PRODA website External link.

  2. On the PRODA website, enter your Organisation id and Device name.

    Organisation ID
    Identifier for your institution, such as 9912321341.
    Device name
    Unique for your device. Created by you, such as MyDeviceName.

    The PRODA website then generates the following:

    Activation code
    Code generated by the PRODA website, such as AB$AcA.
    Device expiry data
    Expiry date calculated from the moment the activation code is generated, such as 31/12/2027.
  3. Go to Settings and then PRODA settings page, and then enter the settings from the PRODA website.

    On saving the settings, the PRODA details are saved to the key vault, which initiates the key generation and starts the device activation. Your institution details, such as the Provider code and Provider name are shown with Your PRODA device is ready. If your details are incorrect, contact TCSI.

  4. Check your device status, which is shown with an icon. The Device status table details the icon, status colour, tooltip, and description for each status. You can hover the cursor over the icon to see details of the status.

    Amber Your PRODA device expires soon. Today is within 21 days of the expiry date.
    Red Your PRODA device expires very soon. Today is within 14 days of the expiry date.
    Red Your PRODA device expires within 7 days. Today is within 7 days of the expiry date.
    Red Your PRODA device has expired. Today has passed the expiry date.
