What is the newsfeed?

The newsfeed is your homepage where you can share your latest news and keep up to date with the latest news from your institution, connections, groups, and pages.

News is displayed as posts to your newsfeed. You can like posts that appear on your newsfeed. However, if you find a post inappropriate or offensive, you can report the post to administrators who should reply with actions taken against the person responsible.

You can post your news and leave comments on other people's posts on your newsfeed. You can attach images and videos to your posts and comments. If you've made a mistake in a post, such as attaching the wrong video, you can edit or delete the post.

Your connections can like and leave comments on your posts. You get a notification when a connection likes or comments on your post so you can reply quickly.

The image Newsfeed illustrates a typical post, including who created the post, where it was posted, the date and time of the post, and what the post says, with options to like and comment on posts, and attach files and images to comments.
