Document type mappings link system document types to user-defined document types in document intelligence, and define the document type linking modes, such as Automatically link documents from the same applicant. Also, defines machine readable zone (MRZ) for passports.
Details the following:
Name
Name of the mapping, such as Passport High Risk. Names are selected from the reference data Document type in the Documents reference data.
System document type
The system document type, such as Passport which are available for document intelligence as defined in the reference data System document type.
Optionally, for the system document type Passport add extraction validation.
Document linking mode
The document link modes are defined in the reference data Document link mode.
The document linking modes are:

Automatically link documents from the same applicant

Do not automatically link documents

For system document types Passport only, you can use machine readable zone (MRZ) validation. For example, use machine readable zone (MRZ) validation for passports from specific regions.
