What is the decision engine?

The decision engine automatically calculates whether applications have passed or failed the conditions of conditional offers. Courses have entry requirements that define the conditions of conditional offers. The conditions are:

Academic conditions
Academic conditions define the qualifications and application points of the conditional offer.
Non-academic conditions
Non-academic conditions are clearance checks, such as requiring applicants to upload evidence that they have a valid visa.

The conditions flow of offer libraries defines the academic and non-academic conditions of conditional offers. Conditions can be connected with logical AND or OR operators and groups of conditions help create more complex condition flows.

The image Decision engine shows decision engine checking an application against the conditions of a conditional offer and failing due to not acheiving an ATAR score of more than 69.2.
