How to move applications

Use the applications list or application queries to move applications to folders and desks as follows:

Applications list: Move applications from a desk. Move applications on the applications list.
Application queries: Move applications from all desks. Move applications with application queries.

Attention. After moving applications, the health of the folders and desk is recalculated.

Move applications on the applications list

Attention. You can move up to 100 applications simultaneously.

Move applications to folders

Move applications to a folder at the same desk on the applications list as follows:

Find the applications to move.
Select the applications to move.
- To move an individual application: go to the button to view additional options⋮ and then select Move to folder.
- To move multiple applications: select up to 100 applications to open the bulk actions toolbar. Then, select Bulk Actions and then Move to folder.
Select the destination folder and then select Apply.

Move applications to desks

Applications are moved to a folder with the same name. If the desk does not have a folder with the same name, applications are moved to the desk’s default folder for new applications.

Applications cannot be moved if the desk does not have a folder with the same name and the default folder for new applications has not been defined.

Move applications to another desk on the applications list as follows:

Find the applications to move.
Select the applications to move.

Select the destination folder and then select Apply.

Move applications with application queries

You can move up to 100 applications simultaneously.

Move applications to a folder at the same desk with application queries as follows:

Find the applications to move.
Select up to 100 applications to open the actions toolbar and then select Actions and then Move to folder.
Select the destination folder and then select Apply.

Move applications to desks

Applications are moved to a folder with the same name. If the desk does not have a folder with the same name, applications are moved to the desk’s default folder for new applications.

Applications cannot be moved if the desk does not have a folder with the same name and the default folder for new applications has not been defined.
