Documents

Admissions officers can now upload general documents that are not linked to clearance checks. Uploading general documents enables admissions officers to upload documents, such as emails of conversations with applicants for reference purposes. To upload general documents, admissions officers must select the document type of the documents to upload, such as the document type Email conversation or Any other document.

The document type defines the file type and maximum file size of the documents to upload. Applicants can also view general documents. However, if required, document access control can be configured for each document type to prevent applicants from viewing general documents. That is, the document type has a category where the role Applicant portal user does not have the permission Documents – View. This is defined in the permissions area Admissions and then Documents and then Category access.

Admissions officers can now have the following permissions for uploading documents:

  • Documents for Clearance Checks – Edit: upload and delete documents linked with clearance checks.

  • Documents General – Edit: upload and delete documents that are not linked with clearance checks.

The short video General upload shows how to upload a general document not linked to a clearance check.
