What's new in Admissions?

The March 2025 (2025.03) release has the following updates:

Tasks with external links

Tasks can now have external links. External links enable applicants to complete tasks, such as completing a questionnaire or making a payment, on external websites. For more information, go to What are tasks? and Clearance check task templates.

Tasks for referee details

Clearance checks can now define tasks for agents or applicants to provide referee details. The task details can provide specific instructions to the applicant or agent. Then, applicants or agents:

  • can provide personal and contact details for the referee as requested using the applicant portal on the Application details page. Applicants or agents must provide consent to contact the referee to submit the referee's details.

  • can view details submitted in the Referee section on the Application details page.

Applications can have up to three active referee or reference records, which are indicated by Current and are specific to a statement type, such as 1, 2 or 3. Any other records are marked as Historic. When an applicant provides a referee details, if a record with a statement type already exists, the new record becomes Current and the previous record becomes Historic.

Tasks for providing referee details require permissions for setting up clearance checks. Agents and applicants require permissions to submit referee details as follows:

  • Admissions and then Agent Portal and then Application and then Submit referee details

  • Admissions and then Applicant Portal and then Application and then Submit referee details

For more information, go to What are tasks? and Clearance check task templates.
