What are tasks?
Tasks prompt applicants to complete tasks, such as complete a fee status questionnaire or pay a deposit. The available tasks have been defined by Tribal and are as follows:

Provide referee details for Referee 1

Tasks, such as Provide referee details for Referee 1, open the appropriate page in the applicant portal when selecting the task. Whereas tasks, such as Pay deposit, require that applicants complete the tasks on an external website include the URL of the external website, such as the payment website of the institution, so that website opens automatically when selecting the tasks.
Tasks completed on external websites can only be closed by admissions officers on viewing evidence that the applicant has completed the task. For example, the applicant has provided a copy of the payment receipt.
Clearance checks for tasks have the category Conditional offer evidence or Other evidence with the option Task selected. Then, the task to create is the description of a reference data Clearance check task template. The clearance check template defines the following:

The description of the task is displayed on the list of tasks on the applicant portal.

The predefined task, such as Pay deposit.
- Applicant instructions

Instructions for applicants on how to complete the task, such as Pay the deposit for your accommodation fee.
- External task URL

For tasks such as Pay deposit, the URL of the website where the applicant can pay their deposit.
