Duplicate match process

Details the settings for the duplicate match process.

The duplicate match process requires integration to an external duplicate matching tool.

Enable duplicate match process defines the following:

  • Enable and new applications are allocated to a Pending duplicate match desk. Applications stay in the Pending duplicate match desk until they are checked by an external duplicate matching tool to determine if the applicant is new or a duplicate of an existing applicant or staff member. To enable the duplicate match process: set to on toggle button on.

  • Disable and new applications are allocated to the desk on the entry point for the programme. If no entry point is defined, applications are allocated to the Unallocated applications desk. If you change the setting from enable to disable, then all applications in the Pending duplicate match desk move to the desk on the entry point for the programme. If no entry point is defined, applications move to the Unallocated applications desk. To disable the duplicate matching process: set to off toggle button off.
