What are quotas and targets?

Quotas and targets set the target or capacity (quota limit) for applications based on the programme characteristics and applicant characteristics. Developers can then use the integration APIs to analyse applications by quotas and targets.

Quotas and targets are reported against enrolment structures. Enrolment structures are the type of qualification of the programmes, such as a Postgraduate diploma. Then, the following conditions define the programme and applicant characteristics:

Programme conditions
The programme conditions can define the entry points of the quota and target. The entry points available in the programme conditions depend on the selected enrolment structures.
Applicant conditions
The application conditions can define the applicant's category, nationality, date of birth, address, postcode, and fee status of the quotas and target.

Integration APIs enable developers to analyse applications by quotas and targets, and to obtain the number of applications for a specific quota by offer status. For more information, go to Integrations > Quotas and targets under Applications decision making on the API catalogue.
