What is Data visualisation?

Data visualisation displays data in graphs and tables to provide the big picture of the applications being processed. You can interact with the graphs and tables to explore and manipulate the data to facilitate data-led decision making around the day-to-day management of admissions. For example, to assess whether a staff member is responsible for more applications than they can process.

Data visualisation provides two views of the data as follows:

Desk view
Provides an overview of applications across desks and folders with a focus on application health. The desk view provides the big picture of processing across the system and the opportunity to interrogate specific areas of interest.
Programme view
Provides an overview of applications across programmes, with a focus on application status, decisions and responses. This gives an overview of the outcomes of processing and the opportunity to interrogate specific areas of interest.
Attention.

The data shown in data visualisation is refreshed automatically every hour. You cannot manually refresh the data or view historical data.

Filters enable you to view specific data, such as a set of specific desks, and to drill down to view data, such as the identity of the responsible people for applications at those desks. The filters across the top of the page enables to filter the views by desk, folder section, folder, and application status. Whereas, the right-hand panel Filters contains additional filters that enable you to filter by programme, entry point, responsible person, and so on. Additional filters have advanced filter criteria such as does not contain, is empty, and many more.

Attention.

You cannot export data and not all filtering options are available.

The video Data visualisation demonstration shows data from applications being visualised in the desks and programme views and how you can interact with the data.
