The March 2025 (2025.03) release enables staff to abandon a CAS export. Abandoning a CAS export sets the CAS requests in the CAS export file back to Ready to send to UKVI. This allows staff to re-export the CAS requests to a new file or amend CAS requests if there are issues.
A CAS export file can only be abandoned when the following conditions are met:

The CAS export file has the status Ready to download, Downloaded, or Failed.

All the CAS requests in the CAS export file have not yet been imported from UKVI and the CAS requests have the status Sending to UKVI.
