How to withdraw applications

Withdraw applications on behalf of applicants. For example, when an applicant decides to enter employment. For UCAS applications, UCAS are informed that the application has been withdrawn together with the reason.

Attention.

Applicants can withdraw applications on the applicant portal if the option is enabled on the applicant portal settings. For more information, go to What are the applicant portal settings?

Withdraw an application as follows:

  1. Choose the application to withdraw. For example, use the keyword filters on the applications list to find the applicant to withdraw. For more information on filtering applications, go to how to filter applications.

  2. On the application, select Go to. Then, on the Application overview, select the menu button sub menu and then Withdraw application as shown in the image Withdraw application.

  3. On the Application status section, select the Reason for Transfer/Withdrawal, such as Gone into employment, and the date of the withdrawal as shown in the image Applications status.

  4. On the Applicant overview page, check that the application status is updated to Withdrawn and that the button is updated to  Withdraw application as shown in the image Applicant overview for withdrawn application, which indicates that no further actions can be taken on the application.
