What is localisation?

Localisation enables a applicants to use the applicant portal and receive communications in their preferred language. The supported preferred languages are as follows:

English (British)
English - Australian
Welsh

For Welsh localisations, text displayed in the applicant portal and used in communications with applicants, such as offer letters and emails must be translated into Welsh. For example, the titles of programmes and the main decision offer text of offer libraries must be translated into Welsh. Welsh language translations are added manually to reference data. Power Automate can also be used for translations. However, the translations in Power Automate as values are translated automatically using a translation action, which may not be accurate.

Reference data values for translation are highlighted with the icon . On selecting the icon , you can add the translation. Then, after adding a translation, the icon changes to . If the text of a value to be translated exactly matches the text of another value for translation, then the translation is added for that value automatically. Similarly, changing a translation will update values with the same text.
