Unmerge applicants that have been merged in error. You can unmerge applicants until the applicant's applications are closed or sent to enrolment.

Unmerge applicants as follows:

  1. Find the applicant you need to unmerge. For example, use the keyword filters to find the applicant you need to unmerge. For more information on filtering applications, go to How to filter applications.

  2. Select the applicant's name, such as Paloma Crawford, to view their person profile and copy the Student ID, such as 200000049. Note that you can also view the merge history of the applicant in the person profile.

  3. Select the applicant in applicant unmerge. Go to Applicant merge / unmerge and then Unmerge. Then, paste the Student ID, such as 200000047 and select the search button.

  4. Unmerge the applicants, select Unmerge applicants. When applicants are unmerged, the applicants and applications are updated as follows:

    • Duplicate applicant is unarchived.

    • Applications are moved back to the unarchived applicant.

    • Merge status of both applicants updated to No duplicate.

Applications are restored in their current state. For example, an application that has passed a clearance check for a valid visa must be checked again to ensure that the visa is for the correct applicant.
